That is actually the right fight for Itauma. I predicted that fight for him before Whyte fight.

Franklin can give this kid some rounds.

Everyone is waiting to see what Usyk does and are taking light touches except for Dubois and Parker. Chances are Usyk retires and one of these guys can grab a piece. Plus they know if Usyk does fight it means a Saudi pay day

This is why they gifted Franklin a win over Dychko but we already knew this, that how predictable this rigged sport has become.

Franklin is no longer a good gatekeeper type.
He is a morbidly obese pig who has zero speed, movement, workrate or power.
The whole selling point will be claiming he has never been stopped.

Itauma will blast him clean out, he has absolute nothing too keep Itauma honest.

I Disagree with you and agree with Jaketheboxer. That's a good fight for Itauma and that's how a fighter should be build. The problem is only the whole youngest HW champion ever and Usyk talk, thats why some people are annoyed about the selection of opponents.

However Franklin is the perfect guy not really dangerous in terms of one punch KO power but if he comes ready and motivated he should be able to give Moses some rounds.

Best case scenario he forces him to go the distance and give him some experience for what is it like to fight in the later rounds.

Next fight should be a Hrgovic after that i would go with Wardley and or Parker. For now he should stay away from Kabayel and DDD, Usyk not to mention he needs 3-4 more fights to even consider that.

Jermaine Franklin appears to be lazy and can't punch so this is a perfect development fight for Moses Itauma, in fact Franklin received a gift decision last time out now he gets another opportunity to to put money in the bank however after this one his stock will drop big time and they will only call on him to lose against up an comers! This is simply a trial type of fight to see where and how good Moses really is.

Itauma will only get rounds here if he carries Franklin.

Franklin has nothing left and is in grotesque shape. He has lost his mobility and can not pull the trigger and in his last fight he spent half of it grabbing Dychko by the waist and trying to suck him off. He is a total punchbag. Mid as anything even at his best and beaten nobody (legitimately) in like maybe even the top 50?

People will say its a good fight and he can give Itauma rounds but its based on him going the distance with AJ & Whyte, two very limited HWs. Itauma isn't some ponderous lump like those two and that Franklin is long gone.
Its simple really he has lost his mobility, relies on his guard and dipping below the waist, he has no power, doesn't know how to counter and has zero work rate - He is going to be stood right in front of Itauma...good luck with that.

I don't think its a good fight its literally the safest one of just about anyone in the top 100, a total waste of time, a farce.
He has no chance, nobody is picking him, the best argument for him is ''oh he might be able to survive past a few rounds'' like this is really a selling point? I'm supposed to be excited for this? This is how low the bar is these days?

Franklin was tricky 2 years ago but is he still? He's not ranked in the top 15 by anyone so even if Itauma wins does he drop down the rankings?
