Stop hyping these guys at 154

there are only 2 guys getting hype at 154, boots who gets massive massive hype & the russian guy because noone will fight him even tho hes got a belt which leads to a bogeyman tag, all someone has to do to end this is sign the fight with him, which boots wont do of course & hes actually proved this

Madrimov is probably the best one outside of Boots/Bud, good fighter but not great. Good win for Bud & Ortiz.

This reminds me of Bivol and Beterbiev fighting all these guys like Smith, Yarde, etc like they are not on that level. We needed and got Bivol vs Beterbiev but like those two I don't care to see them (elite fighters) fighting guys 2-3 full levels below at least not so regularly. It gets tedious real quick.

Another example is Tank, Shakur, Ryan, Devin etc we got a couple but its almost always them vs a past it Fortuna or some mismatch and strangely the one that actually does take risks in Devin is probably the most shlt on one of the lot. They praised drug cheats over him. Tank another - took no risks outside of a cherrypick that went wrong prior to this they would have you believe he was the best of the bunch and would one shot K.O all the rest with ease. It took him losing to Roach for people to come back down to earth

We shouldn't be in favour of it, it is killing the sport rapidly.

We need mega fights. Elite vs elite not constant strings of elite vs high end Euro level/gatekeeper type.
No wonder so many turn to MMA and entertain such goofy YT fights because boxing has rapidly headed that way

Also, a lot of elite fighter's like Usyk, Crawford, Canelo, Bivol, Beterbiev etc are nearing the end of their careers.

Top Soviet Bivol will be 35 in mid December

a defensive minded boxer I think he has at least 5 fights left. I believe Top Soviet Bivol can continue whooping ass through 37 years old

        35
Russian-Chechen Final Boss Buff Guy Artur thrice
        Fat Dave

        36
        Cruiser debut
        Parker's Cousin Buff Guy Jai

        37
        Osleys?

Naoya is 32 but can be reckless getting clipped. Dwarf divisions tend to age faster

That could work but I think Xanders fighting Baraou next (easy pickings)...

            Usyk vs Parker
Another one. 90% in favour of it.

            Trash fight.
Who cares if he got a few solid wins he's just **** average.
But it took him getting his clock cleaned by a white collar fighter in the meantime otherwise we'd have this next and probably many picking Parker and pretending he was so improved under Lee etc
Reality is Usyk would wipe the floor with him and it wouldn't be competitive.

As fans we diss the eye test too much and put way too much stock into titles and rankings which do not mean much at all anymore. Its not like it used to be.

I think it's pretty obvious that Bivol's on the decline...35 isn't young plus going the distance with Beterbiev twice probably shaved a few years off his career (and vice versa). He's also getting injured more often and taking ages to recover. Therefore, I expect him to start losing regularly following the trilogy fight with Artur.

168 needs Diego-Osleys. Osleys is clearly the top talent at 168. Diego next best guy

if Jaron moves quickly, he can get TBud at 160

Lol...Mbilli, Sheeraz & Martinez all wash your boy Diego. Hell I think he'd probably struggle to beat an ageing Plant & Resendiz. Watch this space.
