Weirdly Lubin’s own promoter seems to be saying his problem is between the ears. He isn’t mentally tough or resilient enough to be a top guy. In that case he can’t beat Vergil who seems to bei completely dialled in.

I didn't get that at all from reading this article. To me, it's basically, "time to show up". Lubin is obviously mentally tough and resilient. Had af lash knockout against Charlo years ago, built himself back up and then had a war with Fundora. He was winning that fight on the cards, but he took too many shots and his body couldn't hold up. His corner stopped the fight. Lubin, a true warrior, was willing to continue. Unlike Tim Tszyu last time out. And I think that was the right decision by Tim. Then Erickson worked his way back. That's toughness.
I believe Lubin is going to win this fight. I'm in a slim minority for sure. And I like Ortiz. I just think Lubin has the skills to bother Ortiz - like Madrimov did for a while - and the power to put him down - like Bohachuk did, but more definitively. Odds are, I'm wrong. But, I've been feeling for a while that Lubin is going to pull out the W.
