teo has to try hurt him early in the fight, i hope he doesn't do the ****** thing and try to box shakur like he has the past couple of fights in the last 2 years. teo is a great boxer but shakur is the best pure boxer in the sport right now. he has to blatantly hurt shakur a couple of times early and try to box the rest of the fight off if he plans to box, i hope he wins but i don't think he will and employ a ****** game plan

Yeah, it's a good fight and gets them off Twitter. Winner needs to stay active and build some momentum.

Sometimes I wonder if Lopez’ heart is truly in the game anymore. He keeps pricing himself out of fights.

He is attempting to become a business man first and a fighter second. He hasn’t reach that status as a box office draw to call any shots.

One must remind him that the sport doesn’t need him. It will continue to flourish with or without him. These divas antics he is pulling is only hurting himself and his career.
Slytes make fights, and this one has ZZZzzzzz written all over it. Teo's antics leading to the fight may be the most entertaining part.

This will be boring. Lots of taunting during the fight, holding, complaining, booing, with neither taking risks. Stevenson deffo won’t take risks, and the other fellah can’t afford to lose. Boring, mark my words. Lol at the “great American champions” bit. Boring.

I hope so I want to be able to pull right into manhattan (the bus) and get out New York City as quickly as possible lol. Don’t feel like catching the sub to barklays or that stadium I just found out existed in queens that Shakur just fought at lol.

Shakur has stated himself that what he did vs Zepeda ( actually fighting ) was the last you would see from him
So , yes ,he’ll win in another snooze fest vs the guy who might show or not

It’s no wonder why Top rank is no longer in the business and cannot attract enough sponsors and advertisers to land a platform in order to showcase its stable of boxers. It’s because their entire roster sucked and their fighters were very boring.

The shutout scorecards of the SS-Zepeda fight don't really tell the story of the action or geography of the fight.

SS was probably given too much benefit for fighting more than usual, while Zepeda got no benefit for fighting his fight and forcing that action and doing a lot of work. That same fight occurs in CA, TX, NV and Zepeda probably gets at least 3-4 rounds?

I thought SS won, but it just seemed like an odd psychology that may not be present in this fight.

So, SS coming out and trying to go back to fighting like he did against DLS might not go over well with this NY crowd who I'm thinking will be pretty lit. Teo is athletic and creative enough to force action IMO - De Los Santos' burst in his legs really make SS tepid, I think Teo has that and can be more lateral.

Teo was one of the few guys who actually showed up on that Times Square Card - it wasn't a blazing effort, but solid. Barboza, who I normally like, fought like a chump and Teo took what he could and just put in a professional effort - I took that as a sign he still wants it.
