This is what these pathetic 'interim' belts do, they encourage risk minimisation. This is a terrible opponent. Knyba is #38 with the WBC and his last win was in a scheduled 8-rounder against a guy coming off a TKO loss.

This also shows what a joke WBC is. How can you let your interim champ fight the guy you rank 38th. I'm sure the champion needs to fight a top 15 so that rule should apply to 'interim champion' too
