Experience is a good thing, even when tiny. But when a man who makes his money from wearing bikini bottoms with a fake tan on a tv show outpoints you, you're done, without the fans. But what do I know? I still watch The Great Escape hoping the 50 survive.Last edited by Pulmonary Embolii; 11-02-2025, 12:01 PM.😀 1Comment

AJ has been a shot fighter for the last 2 years. He can’t take any shot above his neck. He has no confidence. Good test for JP, but the geniuses at MVP think fighting little guys is going to get him respect as a boxer. Absolute foolish thinking at MVP. JP and his team are making a great case for the public to call his scam a clown show.Comment

If Jake is serious about being recognized as a pro boxer, he can fight at CW or HW. AJ is a damaged fighter who can’t take a punch and his confidence is long gone. But fighting small 140 pond fighters shows Jake is a fraud who prefers to scam those YouTube fools who haven’t figured this out.Comment

If boxing is to improve as a sport, its institutions need to be held accountable by a properly functioning media. I disagree with your implication that it's BS and other media outlets' duty to passively relay news. They should be asking the important questions. That's harsh, Coverdale. Whether we like it or not, Jake Paul is a big in boxing because of the figures he pulls in from social media followers, some of whom may start to love boxing from watching undercards or joint main events featuring women champions unifying titles. Anyway to answer your points:
1) every source on the internet says "Dmitry Bivol's next fight is not yet scheduled, but he has stated he will not fight until 2026 due to an injury". Are you expecting Boxing Scene to do a Mystic Meg and predict undetermined future events? If you want daft rumours, I give you Bivol v Jake Paul New Year's Day.
2) Let events happen and Boxing Scene report what Tim Shipman says and does. The alphabetti spaghetti organistions have survived wire taps and investigations, so don't hold your breath.
3) No one can say when the marination period is over.Turki Alalshikh burst the bubble, splashing the cash. Anyway, some fights/fighters attract the casual fans, so if that works money wise for promoters, etc, don't expect permanent changes to fighters not fighting. It's still happening today. It's not a Boxing Scene issue. You're expecting too much.
Plus the TMZ comparison is just rude.Comment

Not going to happen. For the same reason Ryan Garcia isn’t going to be Tank’s replacement, Joshua is tied to DAZN and Jake Paul is looking to make millions on a real streaming platform: Netflix.Comment

So, you're saying Boxing Scene can control the sport, by asking questions that no one can/will answer? And that Boxing Scene should not report on the outcomes of fights? Can I ask why people who hate Boxing Scene still come on here and post? If you don't like the content and style of articles, move on to where you will be happy. Pop back and tell us where that magical website is. And bring a unicorn with you.Comment

You introduced the word 'control', not me. Your reply is a classic rhetorical device one observes in internet exchanges which speaks to the ego of the participant rather than the subject matter. 'Pop back' when you're prepared to respond with intellectual integrity and emotional maturity.
