I wouldn't want to be so brutal on Joseph, but people were actually rating this guy number 2 in the division.
It's so easy to see the guy is just not good.
Parker was independently ranked #1 by TBRB. That was partly by default because the TBRB dropped Fury from the rankings when he announced his 'retirement'. With that in mind, the only person who could be ranked higher on merit was probably Kabayel.
He's the British version of Wilder but about 35% better, boxing wise.
He's an absolute animal and to come from four white collar fights with NO amateur experience and in 20 fights landing a shot at arguably one of the greatest boxers who ever lived is right out of a fucking Rocky movie.
It's an incredible story, and one that is heightened by the Great Nash picking him to beat the Greatv Parker yesterday. Nash out - His Majesty
Howard Foster sees what mere mortals do not. There is a reason that he is known as 'the bulb', he knows when lights are about to be turned off. Parker was 1 second away from being in a heap on the floor. The bulb saved him. Nash out - His Majesty
He's one of very few fighters in years who get me genuinely excited on the edge of my seat. Sometimes I think I am the most miserable boxing fan going but he often makes me remember why I love the sport.
When he was taking some licks in the 10th round and nodded down to the canvas signalling 'come on' walking forward menacingly with his hands down then proceeded to badly hurt Parker I literally jumped out of my chair.
He's must watch TV. Whatever he lacks he makes up with in power and a huge pair of boII0cks!
Nash's prediction of a Wardley win was tremendous stuff from Dr Boxing. Nash out - His Majesty
Wardley’s skills have improved for sure but there’s only so far they can go when he had no amateur background. Hes always going to have gaping holes in his game.
That said, he’s talented, has crazy power, he has fast hands and quite good timing but what he has in abundance is heart, chin, stamina. You can’t teach that stuff.
What he’s done up to this point is incredible. He ain’t going to win but in rooting for him against Usyk.
Nash on here predicted that he'd beat Parker against the odds, but I agree that Usyk seems a step to far, but it's a Rocky story this, so we need to get behind Wardley, and if there is one attribute that can pull off a shock victory, it's power, and he has that. Nash out - His Majesty
I agree with plenty of what you say but he's been a top 10 heavyweight for a long time. That doesn't happen by fluke and it's not like he was carefully managed through match making... he's never been box office and only ever got what his results in the ring deserved.
He's beaten Takam, Chisora, Ruiz, Wilder, Zhang and Bakole. I know that's not exactly murderers row but it's a pretty solid resume for a contender.
He's a good size and a good fighter. Not outstanding but a level ahead of the average fringe contender.
Against Wardley he just got beaten by someone with a few exceptional attributes that he couldn't match. Not many hit like Wardley and despite Parker not being the heaviest handed in the division, not many would be able to take what he landed and fire back.
I'd love to see him in with Huni to get a sense of where they're both at. I agree that Huni would win plenty of rounds but it's a fight that Parker could win by experience and toughness. Huni really doesn't seem to have either.

And? So they are very open to hype as well.
Joe Joyce beat the living daylight out of Parker. Made him question life itself.
Show how limited and poor these ranking are. 'Based on merit'. Yet anyone who actually watches boxing could see that Parker was just a guy in the right place at the right time. He's barely top 10.
