    Theodore Roosevelt.

Just saying that it is not my amazing logic. I ain't that cool.
    Nah...sorry Theodore.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is nothing, and let the infinite wisdom of the universe decide for you. Let nature take its course.

Western society is conditioned to act. As though doing anything is better than doing nothing. It shows we are in control.

But if we look at say, climate change or ocean pollution, the best thing we can do is do nothing. Nature doesnt need a helping hand.

And sometimes in trying to fix something, we fück it up even more.

First of all... deep thoughts. I like them.

I agree with the climate control, "man over nature" big thoughts. The Earth responds to grand movements over generation, not small, ego driven decisions by narcissists who believe they are way more important than they are. The world economy, and most viruses fall into that category for me.

But the basic thoughts I have is that boxing is a man made event, governed by men, and that ideas by those men 100% will have affect directly for that reason. I do hope you know I am not arguing, just honestly appreciate your outlook and want you to understand that I am not saying you are wrong

I'm actually going to take pollywog off ignore after reading that post of his you quoted. I thought he was just a provocative troll but he seems to have another interesting side to his character. I will just try to avoid his posts about Parker

          Thanks bro!

There's not a lot more i can say about Parker. He lost to the better man on the night. He's made intergenerational money and lives to fight another day.

There's way more to life than caving someone's head in or getting your own battered.

I'd be happy if he retired.

Yep...doing nothing simply means stop doing what we're doing to make it worse.

              The planet will heal itself.

In any given moment you can only do 1 of 2 things...

Choose to do something or choose to do nothing, but the only 2 things you can do, is what you chose to do in the moment before, while choosing what you're going to do next.

There is no past present or future, just an endless series of moments that can run forward, backward or stand still.

It's the secret to mindfulness and being present in the moment.

To actively choose to do nothing at all, be still and observe time and thoughts as clouds entering your view from any direction. Acknowledge them and allow them to pass through your field of consciousness without giving them any mind.

Western thought has a problem with this. We feel the need to constantly choose to do something all the time, to control what we think about and what we do.

Eastern thought can be summed up in the Taoist concept of Wuwei. Doing not doing. Letting chi flow and nature do its thing while you go along for the ride.

Not so much a passenger lacking free will, but in tune with the will of the universe/Tao and letting it show you The Way.

...and when enacting the choice, do it with ruthless intent and impeccable timing. No halfarseing and no second guessing.
That's how to live a life of no regrets, no excuses, no apologies but endless gratitude...

In a fighting sense, thats what it means to have discipline, to sink to the level of your training, rather than needing motivation to rise to the challenge...
