Boxing has been big in Quebec since the early 60's, filling up stadiums. Even today, when there are big fight at the Bell Centre, the American commentators can't believe it. They're like : "Wow, this is like the good old days of boxing!" We've also had good local rivalries to feed the frenzy. Montreal is very welcoming and a great city for sports, but also for culture in general, with many music festivals.
