Boots makes too many mistakes to survive against Bud. J love his chances against Vergil and some of the guys at 154. Murtazaliev has tremendous power, but I don't think he'd look so great against a target who's not stationary.

ortiz is tough but hes been in close fight where he was dropped and probably should have lost but if someone makes it look easy that a big step up, this is why we like boxing for the intrigue of the matchup, i tend to think this fight is not around the corner as boots has said, i have to take what he and eddie say with a big pinch of salt im afraid due to his past opponent choices when it came to push or shove he walked the other way, not even sure if ortiz is at the moment up for the fight with his position with the wbc i think, looks like we are in for more and more marination turkii with a big cheque book is the only hope i think

I can't see Ortiz beating Boots. Vergil relies too much on pressure. Pressure alone isn't beating Boots, especially at 154.

This is a bad matchup for Ortiz. Ennis is not a defensive genius like Floyd or Pernell but he's got guns to hurt anyone bull-rushing him. I do respect Ortiz's ring smarts but Boots is equal in that realm IMO. He will use his length and mobiity to disrupt Ortiz's attacks. UD for Ennis and the face of Ortiz will look like hamburger.

I’m not a fan of either but Ortiz being a weight bully and as a result backing out of fights because it had an adverse impact on his body isn’t a cause for sympathy. He did it to himself. Boots wanted to unify at 47 instead of moving up to fight a prospect. Makes perfect sense. Now Ortiz father says he won’t let his son fight boots. And ortiz turned down multiple title shots because he’s a diva who wants to fight where he wants and also decline the ibf’s mandatory rehydration clause. Have some dignity ya simp.
