Every fighter calls themselves the best until the sport has proven otherwise.

Thing is, can a person anoint themselves the -
    Face Of Boxing
    Cash/P4P King
    1st ballot HOFer

How does one go about that ???

All's I know is that it's up to the people to decide someone's greatness and not for themselves to bestow upon themselves. Sure, being great usually comes with of arrogance, but it doesn't mean you have to be delusional too.

Khan was and still is delusional
Broner's problem was solved yet he thinks hes a fight away from being P4P/FOB
Fury schtick was exposed by a "MW"
Mike Tyson had to eventually fight a "Real" opponent

Thing is, a boxer can have a delusional fan base

Every generation seems to get upset when a boxer calls themselves something great and then uses that successfully to market themselves, build their brand, and make millions of dollars.

The problem isn’t them. It’s the losers that are jealous of their success while the boxer the like is relegated to 2nd place.

          Get over it.

Manny doesnt rate PBF in his top 5 opponents? Why, because he ran like a coward.

              lol
              yes sir

Augustus Zab Oscar Miguel were also harder fights than manny

manny does not make the list of Floyd's 5 toughest matches

Marcos used his own cross to split Floyd's pullcounter 2 or 3 timez. these shots were more memorable than the best stuff manny landed

As we've all seen just here at NSB
PBF/May is mentioned 100x more than Pac
Is matched against and compared with every ATG there is.

No one cared about Pac except Pac fans (AKA Mayhaters)
Too many people have beaten Pac for it to be a special event.
                People that PBF/May would humiliate.

Picture PBF getting KTFO by a couple of food vendors
Or getting robbed by a part time school teacher

                  Use your brain.

He allegedly chased the fight for years. Floyd was the #1 ranked p4p boxer in the world and the cash cow. This is the fight Manny made more money than he ever did. The fight for him was for the unified, undisputed we champ. On top of that, he’d have been the first man to beat Floyd.

But it wasn’t one of his top 5 opponents.

                  Yeah that makes sense.

Floyd is Pacquaio’s best opponent by far. Same as Pacquaio is Mayweather’s best opponent by far.

But neither are in thier “toughest opponents” due to the styles. Whereby Floyd just outboxed him easily in 1st gear so whilst a one sided fight it wasn’t “tough”.

Pacquaio had “tougher” fights with Morales, Marquez and even Cotto and Margarito despite those two being one sided fights.

Mayweather had “tougher” fights with Castillo x2, Maidana x2 and Augustus.

But they’re both obviously each others “best” opponent.
