        Thanks,for pointing out the typo, I mixed up the acronyms.

        Madrimov was the WBA super welterweight champion when he fought unbeaten Magomed Kurbanov for the belt.

        That said it changes nothing, my point stands. At the time, Madrimov was not only a champion but widely considered the best super welterweight in the division.
