    Good point rippuh, thats why the belt-holders should get some balls and fight each other for unification of the belts. So there will be an undistuted heavyweight champion. It's what the fans want, so why won't they give it to us?

      It come down to basic economics. One belt equals one fight for millions. 3 fights equals 3 fights for millions. The more belts the more money. And if your king and happen to have a part in 2 or 3 of them then that equals more money for him. Keeping the belts seperated means more money for everybody directly involved, but less interesting bouts for us....Rockin'

        Economics is my argument here and more belts doesn't mean more money. The Klitscho-Williams fight didn't even sell out and ppv sales were dismal. Had it been Klitscho-Ruiz or Byrd, I think the sales figures would be more favorable. Your point about King is dead on. He doesn't care about the quality of the fights, he just cares about holding on to the belts. Thats why boxing needs some new fresh faces in the promotions department. We need someone who is smart, creative, and does what is in the interest of the fans.

          you are correct in saying that the sales for a fight in a undisputed title fight would be greater. However, if the belt is lost than in most cases a promoter is out a champion which means less money. It comes down to these promoters not wanting to lose the cash cow that they have worked so long to get. You always here about King not making or allowing a bout to come off. The reason being that the opponent is under another promoter meaning that if the King fighter was to lose than king would lose the belt.........Rockin'

              PROOF THAT GIRLS ARE EVIL

              First it's given that girls require time and money.
              Girls = Time X Money

              And we all know that "time is money".
              Time = Money

              Therefore,
              Girls = Money X Money or (Money)^2

              And because "money is the root of all evil",
              Money = (Evil)^1/2

              Therefore,
              Girls = (Evil)^(1/2 x 2)

              From which we conclude,
              Girls = Evil

                The title picks up something important. When you see a HW who only fights twice a year and can't turn up in shape regardless a la kirk johnson, David Tua, Rahman and countless others, its hard to care about the division.
