I rate Ben as one of the best 175 lb guys out of the UK however saying time is on his side is maybe not the most accurate statement. Last time i checked Benavidez is also 28 years old. I can't see Ben improving enough to beat Benavidez, his only hope is that Benavidez moves up in the next years. Currently i dont think Ben is a Top 5 175 lbs guy and i think he will gets stopped by Beterbiev and Benavidez in easy fashion. He better concentrates on guys like Craig Richards, Lyndon Arthur and Willy Hutchinson IF he beats them go to Buatsi, Smith and Yarde.

He's definitely outside the Top 5 in the UK! I'm not sure he's even Top 10 in his own country. Yarde, Smith, Buatsi, Hutchinson, Zach Parker, Richards, Lyndon Arthur, Azeez, Chelli should all expect to beat him.

Fighting lower-level opponents has fooled the public into buying the Ben Whittaker hype, but there's a good reason they haven't stepped him up to face British Champion level opposition, even though he's approaching 30. His problem is going to be the depth of talent, and power punchers, in that division. Massive social media following won't make any difference when you are one on one with fighters who can take everything you've got and throw back much harder.

He arguably quit against Cameron and then got a gift stoppage in the rematch. Benavidez would crush him permanently.

Looks like Eubank / Ben was just the beginning...Eddie saw Jake Paul money and he wants a piece of that. Ben Whittiker may only look good fighting nobodies, Media types and youtubers but who cares, he is a spectacle. Eddie will go after the Tank and Paul winner next and if he can get Mauricio Sulaman to slap together a belt for a percentage of the purse... it's a mega fight.

The WBC is not guaranteed to jump on board but 3% is a lot of money and Mauricio never misses a payday, namsayn.
