Eh, it was surprisingly close. Pay the man 50K, promise him a shot at the winner, then move up or rematch him. I like the Nuņez unification better. But Suarez does deserve another crack at a title.

Personally I do want to see the Navarrete vs Nuņez unification quite more as a fan of both. A unification bout is more enticing than a defense and will attract more money from what could be action packed clash. Though Navarrete and Suarez already have the history for the rematch for the remarch be quite even more entertaining than the original, which was really fun for the first half of the fight.

But Suarez does deserve a crack at a title after a getting a no contest when the cut was inflicted by a punch, should be a TKO in favor of Suarez even if I thought he was under the cards.

Think Suarez should get compensated to be the mandatory for the winner, get a fight with Valdez, Diaz, Ogawa or Coincecao to create more traction.
