Well give me a like then you stingy mthrfkr! Seriously though, this fight needed to happen a LONG time ago but glad they're finally getting it done. Would love to see Bud take on Adames next and then unify with Janibek (most likely).

Consolidation of the titles makes TBud who has 2 fights left become 160 undisputed more likely
Yup...BigMac said he had 2-3 fights left which sets him up nicely for the Adames fight followed by an undisputed clash with Janibek.

If he manages to become 4x undisputed, I would put him on the same level as Duran, Pacquiao & Floyd.

maybe in ability but actual ranking is tough

TBud vs Janibek is major fight

        Floyd's Cousin vs Manny's Cousin

Janibek seems a complete and versatile fighter

They're trying to get an Undisputed Champion so that Crawford will attempt to go for 4 Weight Undisputed. That would make sense to me. Of course I could be totally wrong but I hope not. 160 needs some action.

Why did Janibek vs Adames fell through? You would think that after Golovkin retired, fighters at Middleweight would step up now.

Only Ryota Murata tried, and I am critical of him, he did it because he was heavily promoted and Golovkin was in his 40s, Murata often fell through at the top level, and he would get an instant rematch for the interim title. Which unlike Jermell, it wasn't against notable fighters like Harrison and Castaño.

Yeah Janibek was an ELITE amateur too so will probably be his toughest fight to date. However, I think the momentum is with Crawford so if it's another close fight, he'll probably get the decision and make history again.

                Janibek looks good

I could live with a good fighter like Jani taking TBud's 0 and them rematching. Junto-Naoya, Moses-Usyk

better than losing the 0 to some young random just because you were old!

Yup...Janibek's in his PRIME too (and not at the end of his career like Canelo or post life-changing car crash like Spence).

Southpaw vs. southpaw could be an interesting fight plus both fighter's have similar KO % ratios.

Lara is an aging semi retired title holder. If he has some reflexes left he will be a difficult fight for Janibek.

we'll see how TBud performs against the Central Asian style on his SECOND attempt!
