So whats the outrage? Is your problem with Sanchez, or Dubois? And what matchup (that could actually be MADE) would you prefer??
The point you are missing is that I am highlighting the absurdity of having four competing sets of rankings which leads to matchups like this. Dubois - Sanchez as a standalone fight is fine, but as a 'final' eliminator is absurd and is only possible because of boxing's relationship with four competing sanctioning bodies.

I know this is the internet where every exchange is a confrontation and people willfully misread one another for the sake of polemic, but if you choose to respond again can you please do so with the understanding this is not about Dubois and Sanchez personally, but about emphasising how four profit seeking sanctioning bodies are holding back the sport.

All the extra WBA belts are pathetic but at least they don’t really get in the way. You can choose to ignore them- not that we should have to but at least they never stripped Usyk because he didn’t fight Pulev for example. They’re more laughable but less frustrating IMO.

I have not referred to or followed the WBA or IBF ranking's for 20 years. Instead I refer to Ring magazine rankings.
