Agree with everyone mentioning the Vergil cancellations. Just a brutal series of events.

I found the stoppage in that Ennis fight very premature. While not a championship fight, those guys are at a high level fight for it be stopped when it was IMO. Stanionis had been waiting for a long time for a fight like that.

I mean, maybe he agreed more than he is letting on, he seems to imply he was overtained; but it also felt like someone, somewhere decided that fight was over.

Anyway, sounds like he just wants a new plan. He is still very good - he will still be a player if he can fire himself up again.
