What happened to any deal with Netflix?!?
Why did they put all that work into Canelo vs Crawford on Netflix only to go with paramount+ which had a much smaller subscriber base?!?
Did Netflix not like something with Dana and Tuki such as the coming **** storm of negative press they are going to get with the Ali Act corruption they are attempting. If the Ali Act Corruption doesn’t get passed, TKO is out of boxing. If the existing Ali Act gets expanded to MMA TKO is f&@ked. Dana and Turki opened the door for scrutiny and might get the Ali act in a way they never imagined.
Also, Callum Walsh and especially Cain Sandoval are the products of amazing match making, they are C+/B- fighters at best.
Lastly, I expected a more critical piece of writing from Lance, not this puff.

“The Ali Act had good intentions, but it’s holding the sport back.”

Dana White is exactly who the Ali Act was meant to protect fighters from

Same here , they put on very well matched cards. I wish that they all did it like Probox does.

It's always money. He wants to suckle on the Saudi tit too. He's a con man like his buddy the Orange Anus. He's going to take Turki for everything that he can. Who knows , Shltler might can the whole Ali Act if it would benefit him .They have a lot in common.

Without even arguing the merits of the Act...

If we could chart the popularity of boxing over the decades, and were able to pinpoint when the most recent decline started, it seems to be right around the time period when the Act was passed (2000).

Maybe it took a decade to take hold, and there were some popularity spikes in between, but it's been trending down ever since.

Seems like you're holding up the Act trying to hail it's virtues for boxing, but at the same time implying that enforcement of the Act would kill a combat sport like MMA?

Like as if it's a threat. I thought the Act was supposed to be good?

Yep. We can argue all day about the ethics of how the UFC does things but from a business and consumer perspective their model has clearly given them massive advantages over boxing. They are able to stack cards and put on big fights much more consistently because they have way more control over the fighters and dont need to break the bank constantly to get things done. Look at their cards for this month as an example, they'd be paying $100m+ to get those fights made if this was boxing, it wouldnt be sustainable.

Punishment? I didn't know telling the truth was criminal.
