True, but Boxxer's BBC date being October 25 was being mentioned when news of the BBC deal first broke in the summer and a long time before Parker vs Wardley was announced. I think the Warrens have been pretty clever here myself by taking that date before Boxxer made it official, but it could just be one of those things. Maybe I'm being cynical. I know ideally that no promoter really wants to go head to head with shows as it ultimately hits everyone's viewing figures. Either way, October 25 is shaping up to be a fun night of heavyweight boxing in the UK. At least these days, with modern set-top boxes, we can now record multiple things at once.

If BBC boxing is going to take off they will need to find a new audience rather than draw from the existing one. This clash will be an immediate test of that.
