Pacquiao May Stop Cotto in One Round, Says Roach

like i posted in the other thread, roach changes his predictions as they get deeper in camp, and he sees pacman work.

the latest is a KO in the first round....if roach comes back, and changes his mind again, then you can call him out.

he must really like what he sees from pacman, in terms of the plan he's implementing, and how pacman is incorporating it intto his training.....

pac is having his worst camp in quite a while. i don't think roach isn't aware of that

maybe he thinks that cotto is damaged goods and can get KO'd in less than 3 minutes. we'll see

which is why he WON'T go toe to toe with him....pacquiao has the speed advantage, so it'd be dumb to not use it, and instead play into cotto's strengths, which are his size and power.....

pacquiao plans on attacking, then getting outta the way before the bigger, stronger man fires back.....that's the correct way to fight this fight.

if cotto had done that against margs, he wouldn't have gotten stopped. so to make a long story short, this fight will be what should have happened in the margarito-cotto fight, had cotto decided to fight to his strengths instead of margs.....

I agree on that line because I always felt like Cotto gave the fight
to Margarito as soon as the bell rang by staying on the run and not
taking it to Margarito and getting to his body.

the way ppl handle "distractions" is different....based on all indications, none of it has hampered pacman's training at all, and he looks better than ever training-wise....

on a side note, it really doesn't matter whether pacquiao KO's cotto in round 1, 3, 5, or 11....or at all even...i'm pretty sure a clear cut UD won't be disappointing, considering cotto's the best WW in the world, not named mayweather....

come on people, take it in stride...I'm pretty sure alot of that from Roach is just hyping the fight even more, to ruffle some Cotto-fan feathers...also, please keep in mind that alot of people are STILL talking about the Super Six Tourney..I feel this is a way to direct most of the attention back to the Cotto / Pac fight.....pretty bold though, I'm pretty sure Cotto can last more than a few rounds...I still don't know who to pick, I like 'em both as boxers.....
