And Jesus himself himself was a Taoist. A follower of the Way. He was all about the Yin/Yang.

Inner virtue as opposed to mere compliance to set rules of behaviour!
I will dive deeper into this

No sooner does the cloud pass than the memory of Wilder fades into irrelevance again and you think, i need to put on something warmer and I'm feeling a bit snackish.
So, like I said, he lives in your head.

You think about him more than I do & was a fan.

Off the top of my dome...

Saul was a ***ish thug who persecuted early Christians. On his way to Damascus? he was 'shown' a vision of a feast and 'God' said 'Fill yer boots Man'.

He changed his name to Paul started following the myth of Christ, wrote a bunch of stuff which formed the basis of the new testament and helped establish a new religion and church in Jesus name.

That church corrupted the teachings of Jesus, turned him into the Son of God something he never claimed to be and mythologised a trinity of Father, Son and Holy ghost which had fück all to do with what Jesus espoused.

When asked himself what he was Jesus said 'He was the Way, the truth and the life and none shall know of the creator unless through him'

But that doesnt mean sacrificing yourself for a personal relationship with Jesus. It just means FIND YOUR WAY, and let the TRUTH of it be expressed in your LIFE.

In essence he was a PROCESS not a gatekeeper to heaven. He was an Essene. A ***ish sect that followed THE WAY. The way is what THE TAO means. It's about cultivating inner virtue and expressing it as love.

The ***s at the time and what the Cult of Paul eventually became was to set themselves up as intermediaries using Jesus as a means towards forming a relationship with God.

To do that they needed laws and compliance to set rules of behaviour through standardised ritual. The last thing organized Abrahamic religions inclusive of Islam wanted is to find your own WAY and render them irrelevant.

Jesus knew that. The 3 wise men who turned up to his birth were probably an Indian Buddhist, a Chinese Taoist and an American Animist. It is believed from the last sighting of Jesus aged 12 when he schooled the ***ish pharisees ? to the time of assuming his ministry aged 30, he spent 18years traveling and learning the WAY before returning to ********* and starting his mission culminating in his death over a span of only 3 years.

And, Judas didn't betray him for money or nefarious reasons. He was Jesus best bud, enforcer and bodyguard. He wanted Jesus to prove his divinity to the masses. He thought by telling the Romans where he was Jesus would have the audience to convert the masses and uprisr to overthrow the Romans and revolutionize a ***ish religion waiting for a prophesied messiah.

The ***s are still waiting, Jesus revolutionised the existing order but his teachings were corrupted by the Cult of Paul whose words in the bible get reconstituted and regurgitated more than Jesus especially when King James constructed his bible that excluded many other texts to promote a narrative that best served the Church, not Jesus and not God.

The moral of the story is, if you want a personal relationship with the creator, use Jesus WAY of how he found his and live the truth of it.

Study, learn, critically analyse, vate inner virtue. Don't be a slave to rules and laws that only want to subjugate and control you.
