old white guy gym owner memory is suspect at best. I'm inclined to not believe him since he was off the first time and no one has corroborated his account. If David did score a knockdown, I think his daddy would have mentioned it
Top Soviet Bivol timed the sht out of Russian-Chechen Final Boss Buff Guy Artur's footwork in the rematch
it'd be even worse for David who has atrocious footwork falling over his weight and less jab than Artur
While Artur could hurt and ko David I think David has a chance against Artur
Benavidez has a BETTER chance against Buff Guy Russian-Chechen Final Boss Artur but only because he's a decade younger.Comment

oh he would if Saul was the meaningful fight
Heated David if it's his stablemate gets it instead after years of David having Saul on the radar
recent David Ring Mag interview idea is to win belts at 175 to further entice Saul to face him lol
this guy really wants to take the Mexican torch of boxing for all the paydays that come with it
Ring Mag was hyping the hell out of him talking about heavyweight lol
I believe he's a good but a respectable distance away from great). Just because his power hasn't carried through to Light Heavyweight DOESN'T mean that he hasn't been completely dominating former champions like Gvozdyk and top contender's like Morrell. Also, he's unfortunate because he's stuck in a weight division with 2 future HoF'ers. Having said that, I give him a decent shot at beating Beterbiev & Canelo as they continue to get older but not Bivol due to his superior footwork and fighting style.
I also agree that he's specfically targeting Canelo in a 'passing of the torch' fight so he can inherit his large fan base.
As for Pacheco, he's a very good prospect but will struggle to win a world title in a division full of killers like Crawford, Canelo, Sheeraz, Mbilli, Iglesias etc. just to name a few. However, nowadays even the likes of Zayas and Crocker managed to become champions (with some clever matchmaking) so I guess anything's possible.Comment

Disagree...I believe that Benavidez is an ELITE fighter and the next great fighter out of Mexico (even though he's American and half Ecuadorian). He's targeting Canelo because before the Bud loss Canelo was the man to beat and for the most money. Those are the reasons, the fan base will come naturally after the big wins. Everyone loves a winner. Benavidez is not strategizing like bi7ch-weather, he is more like Hopkins and Usyk, just wants to fight the best and beat the best, he has that fearless confidence.
David hasn't yet had a Saul fight but already played the idea of a rematch in his head
best believe this guy has plans

Zurdo is a bigger money fight here than Opetaia, who is unknown here. One step at time. Benavidez has proven he's a big game hunter, be patient. He can't fight everybody in a hurry. Boxing doesn't work that way.Comment
