    Legacy.

Boots and Ortiz will have very, very good careers if not great.
Someone like Sheeraz, Janibek, Eubank Jr not so much or highly unlikely.

I do think Janibek looks a force but at what level? Really his resume is littered with domestic level opposition.
He looks world class but so do many, many others at the level he is fighting.

Boots vs Ortiz would go a long way in determining who has "earned" the shot at Bud. Problem is that Boots pops seems determined to make sure he never faces a significant challenge.....

I can't argue that and as a fan its frustrating. He's obviously worst case at least got an elite skillset.
I don't know what the hold up is, I wish I did.

My eyes, my heart, head and soul tells me he is real special and I personally think style wise he has the beating of them all. I just wish we could find out.

I can't and won't even try justify him fighting Lima I am just hoping its a warm up vs a southpaw for either Ortiz or Bud.
If there isn't a truly acceptable fight next in line for him I am done and happy to accept he's another like Tank who just wants to pad his record vs a load of no hopers and never challenge himself.

Bud just broke the record for most divisions to be undisputed in. Saying nobody wants to challenge themselves after what he just did is insane.

Crawford's at a point now where he can just pick who he wants.

If I'm Crawford, I get a belt at 160, then look for Boots-Ortiz winner (if they fight), hopefully backed by Saudi money.

And once again, Murtazaliev gets zero love.

I don't want to go here and discredit Bud but becoming undisputed, unified etc is becoming increasingly more common thanks to an extremely weak era and belts being passed around left & right. For me the belts are now meaningless. Him beating Canelo (even if a little past it and despite obvious limitations) I think adds far more to his legacy than the accomplishment side.
He could no doubt become a 5 or even 6 weight undisputed though I have little idea where half the belts are at 154 or 160 but I am pretty sure they lay with nobody spectacular.

People would be claiming he was the goat but what if anything would these fighters do for his resume? Janibek has couple of belts I believe? Murtazaliev and they are probably/almost certainly by far the better of the titlists. It sounds incredible, it is but lets say he beat these and did it, the best win between them is like Tim Tyszu lol, a Tim Tyszu who I believe was fresh off a brutal loss.
Does Lara have a strap or two? Great name, great fighter but beating him aged 43 does nothing.

I don't like where boxing is at or heading.

I fear for boxing because I think its in a far, far worse place than anyone realises or will admit. I think that is why Turki is putting on less and less shows as there is just so little actual big fights to be made or even particularly good ones now.
You have Fury, Usyk, Bud, Canelo, Beterbiev, Bivol likely hasn't long left, Inoue, AJ, Jack, Lara, Roman Gonzalez, Estrada and a few others are all on the verge of retirement and truth be told I see very little real talent coming through. Jai (in a difficult place), Itauma, the Cuban MW, that's about it. I feel unless I am missing an awful lot the sports practically gone once they call it a day. I hope I am wrong

                    who is Cuban MW?

undisputed is modern marketing gimmick ploy

back in the black & white days when there was only one belt every champ was undisputed

But when rating those legacies no one cares that they were undisputed

all about who you beat how you won and when did it happen

I know its a made up criteria but Boots has more decent wins than most of the potential opponents being spoken about.

Its not just Bud vs Boots, hell give me Boots vs Ortiz. This is what should probably happen, winner earns a shot at Bud in a big super fight.
Just any combination of the 3 would be brilliant for boxing.
I can see this happening if they throw some money at Bud! He can go back across the pond and make some money on his way out. I can't see him fighting anyone else at this point, and nothing at 160 seems to make sense at the moment.
