    In a fair world

In 2017, Canelo would have lost to GGG,

his mythical "face of boxing" persona would have never existed.

He would have been considered a great Mexican boxer,
but not in the conversation of the best.

Nor would he have ever been included as a top 10 P4P fighter.

    And guess what?

Crawford would have beaten an over the hill, good 168lb Mexican fighter.

And none of this Mt. Rushmore, ATG, GOAT talk would exist.

Because near half of all boxing fans dont know how to score fights

a fighter with that many close decisions who lacks dominant performances in his biggest wins is far from being unbeatable

pre-Bivol Saul had already struggled with Austin [a decent but not good], Erislandy, and golovkin twice

and went 8-4 with old Miguel and needed a come from behind ko over old Kovalev

that isn’t a dominant unbeatable fighter

According to promoter Eddie Hearn, who currently works with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, the pound-for-pound boxer believes that he can beat Oleskandr Usyk, who currently holds the WBO, IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight titles. It amazes me how so called fight fans can aim their emotions at a fighter who has proven himself over the course of his career
(May is the embodiment of such foolishness)

NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN GIVEN THE KEYS TO BOXING WITHOUT EARNING IT

And The Emotionals never have the nuts to compare Nelo with those they do love.
Just blanket statements that don't hold water.

"Nelo is the worst !!! Benny is the best !!!"
"May is a fraud !!!!! Bud is the ONE !!!!!"

The convo ends once I ask that Emotional to compare resumes (the dreaded R word ..................)

Most sports are so easy to do, that people do them as "leisure activities".
Boxing is not one of those sports.

Is this strange behavior tethered to the armchair fan and keyboard warrior and their insecurities? Making light of something that they, themselves would lack the courage to do, even once, even at the most rudimentary level?
And being angry about their limits; their cowardice being laid bare by the example set by better men?

I'll bet the farm that this being forced to look at themselves in the mirror is the key.

And now, when he lost to Crawford, people started to recal that canelo didn`t really beat GGG in the first two fights.
No, that's not true, 100% of canelovers thought he was unbeatable, 100% of boxing fans knew from his first belt that he was not all that, bringing a journeyman from two divisions down that was not even ranked, and still missed the weight.

The 2021 version of Canelo was the best fighter in the world & wasn't going to be beaten by anybody around 168 at that point.

                      He's 4 years older & has 70 fights now.

People do get old you know
