Comments Thread For: Tim Tszyu to restructure team, says ?best is yet to come?
Tim Tszyu says the fire is still burning inside him, as he looks to make some changes to his team before returning to the ring.

He should have done that after the first loss to Fundora. Now he's been wrecked twice over since, and he's on the wrong side of thirty.
He has an uphill battle.
I thought the first Fundora fight was a fluke because of the cut, and the fact that Tim managed to keep it close. But then, he took a fight vs Bakhram Murtazaliev, and was shaken to his soul. And then, the disastrous rematch vs Sebastian. Tszyu will have to rebuild more than his team.
He has enough skill and power to compete with anyone in the division. Fundora is a freakish problem for the entire division and apparently Mendoza and the first Tim fight woke him up to the fact that he needed to use his length and height rather than brawling. He will be very difficult for anyone to beat.
Tim hurt him a few times in the rematch but took too many shots. Tszyu needs to work hard on his footwork and head movement, and taking his time and not being overconfident. I could see him winning another belt and putting on some entertaining fights. He ducks no one and is to be commended. He just has to learn to be a little more cerebral.
Right......
It's the teams fault he can't get out of the way of telegraphed punches
He reached his ceiling.
Maybe he has, but it is his team's fault for not stopping the Fundora fight when he got cut; team's fault for letting him get seven shades of shit beat out of him before throwing in the towel versus Murtazaliev.

Maybe Timmy is who he is and his fans are imagining him being better than he is ?
After a certain number of fights and training camps, you either have a game plan and the ability to make in fight adjustments
Timmy is lacking in the latter.
He will beat up those who have no hope
Lose to those who have more tools.
In isolation and tacked on to his statement at the end "the best is yet to come" seems the equivalent of an insincere "much love" at the end of a note from an acquaintance - words that sound right, are harmless when said, but not heartfelt.
