Dominance Factors in TBud Being P4P King

only 1 opponent Madrimov came close taking 5/12 but TBud had him figured out in the championship rounds

Floyd's reign at the top was largely in part to his dominance in all of his big fights

TBud is dominant compared to Top Soviet Bivol, Usyk, and Naoya

Top Soviet Bivol had to rematch Artur [the best opponent any of these 4 have faced]

Usyk has had 3 close ones: Briedis, Buff Guy Joshua 2, and Fury 1

Naoya has been knocked down multiple times and had to rematch old Nonito who he went life and death with in fight 1

I agree in dominance being a factor- most do not though, most just throughout resume and only look at the top name as being the only measurable.

I think you can absolutely look at dominance and look at the fights itself.

Beat a washed Canelo = TBud the P4P king.

Midget Gamboa, Alcoholic Spence, Washed Canelo. One helluva resume.

To be fair, I don't understand why many ppl say Inoue X Donaire (36) was old
but for some reason, Bivol X Beterbiev (38), Canelo X GGG (36), Crawford (37), Usyk (38) are not?

Canelo is more shop worn than any of those guys above.
And would say he's been on the most decline since his prime. Based on the fact, he hasn't gotten a knockout in over 4 years, his overall punch output has declined, and hardly uses footwork.

Bivol is not in the conversation with the other 3. He already lost.

          Out of Crawford, Usyk, Inoue
Inoue has dominated and KOed more opponents than the other 2.
Like u say, Usyk has been in 3 close fights.

          Inoue fights 4x a year.
          Crawford fights 1.

But yes, Crawford beat the most popular fighter today, Canelo. 2 wgt classes above is what puts him at the top for many people.
          That's his marquee win.

But Crawford X Madrimov was very close.
Closer than Inoue X Donaire 1.
I don't put Madrimov anywhere near the level of Donaire.
I can't remember the stat, but Inoue completely outclassed Donaire punches landed after he got his orbital bone fractured.

To most media sources, if not all, they'll put TC as #1 P4P.
But IMO if Inoue beats Junto and possibly Bam down the road, it puts him above Crawford. Junto, Bam are in their prime, and top P4P now.
Canelo is not a P4P guy now.

If a person only has 2 notable opps, that shouldn't qualify that person ATG.

Why does a guys resume go out the window with some fighters ???

TBud because Saul is all time great. Bivol beat another all time on his record Artur

Naoya is one for the hardcores

harder to get the attention necessary for recognition in the dwarf weights fighting mainly in Japan

Naoya Inoue’s latest title defense was the most viewed bout outside of Japan in his career.
It eclipsed 13 million viewers in the US and UK alone.

                he's #1 in Japan.

And no one knows who TC is outside of the U.S., except hardcore fans.
Not even sure if he's even known in his home country by non-boxing fans.
