Two more fights. Clean up 160. Crawford, Lara, Adames, Janibek in a 4 man tournament.

    If Crawford wins he becomes:
the only 4 division undisputed champion in history
the only 5 division lineal champion in history, unless you count Pacquiao's disputed claim at 147
the third 6 division world titlist in history after De La Hoya and Pacquiao

I think those are winnable fights.

Yes, I think there's a bit more to do. He's coasted for much of career that 1 fight with.Nelo won't solve. He's caused an upset, that's a start.

        You're underselling him.

        He's already:
The only 3 division undisputed champion of the WBA/WBC era
The third 4 division lineal champion after Mayweather and Pacquiao
The sixth 5 division world titlist after Hearns*, Leonard**, De La Hoya, Mayweather, and Pacquiao

*Hearns' light heavyweight title was a WBO belt before the WBO was recognized by any of the other alphabet soups
**Leonard won his light heavyweight and super middleweight titles at the same time in a catchweight fight

If he retires today he's an all time great.

But if he cleans up 160, he might be THE all time great.

The tournament is smart! Crawford wouldn't be able to fight them all one by one especially if turki ain't backing but the four of em in 1 card then the winners fighting seems more plausible.

But honestly I'd like Crawford to retire on top.

Lara is 43. Do that fight and see how he looks.

I'm surprised to hear that Crawford only got paid $10 million while Canelo got paid $150 million. I thought this was to be his big money retirement check. To suggest that there is much more money for him to make is questionable. I mean, he's 38 soon. What fight will bring him more money than the Canelo fight?

figure of 10 mil for bud sounds a bit odd, i wonder is bud being fully honest, i mean i remember not long ago suliclown said bivols purse for beter rematch was 2.5 million and people ran with that, then hearn said what everyone knew was correct, it was at least 10 mil each for that fight and hearn said more, so stuff goes on with these payments, id say the 10 mil is the 'public' declared figure but something may well be going on with it

A tournament at 160 would be entertaining.

Would live to see names drawn out of a hat but I think you want Crawford and janibek to be the final so I’m thinking Crawford/Lara and Janibek/adames.

I also agree the “semi final” fights need to be on the same card.

This isn’t a big payday. As far as money, only 3 really lucrative options

                    Canelo rematch
                    jake paul
                    Floyd out of retirement
