The time to fight Lomachenko was in the several years preceding Loma's decline, injuries, and retirement.

And if not Lomachenko, then literally any unification at any point in his entire career. But Davis never unifies, because those fights are risky.

No the time to fight him was the same time most young guys fight old big name guys- when the young guy can use the fight as a springboard or a “changing of the guard”.

Now I do agree he could’ve fought other unifications.

Davis is never fighting anybody good again, get real.

The only reason he fought Roach is that he didn't actually KNOW Roach was good. Just a cherrypick gone wrong.

I heard that Davis and Roach knew each other from sparring. Given that Tank is from Baltimore and Lamont is from nearby DC, that makes sense.

Davis isn't a young guy. He and Lomachenko have been in the same weight classes pretty much since 2016, and by 2017 both were world titlists.

Just admit it. Davis is completely uninterested in competitive fights. Always has been.

Roach was a cherrypick gone wrong and that's why Davis ducked the rematch. No different than what happened with Cruz.
