It suggests Canelo knew of the injury, it was too late to call off the fight, and there was an agreement between the boxers for the fight to go ahead and Canelo not to take advantage of the situation.

You're not taking age and the many wars he has been through into account. The third fight showed more than just one issue. Everything he did was slow due to age. And now he is 43 years old and he is no Bernard Hopkins which no one else has been able to equal or even get close. You need to be realistic about how far he will go or rather not go.
