If you look at my history on Bud Crawford you will see I'm not his biggest fan. Max Kellerman kept warning us that this fight was going to be the most watched fight since an Ali fight. I don't know about that. What I did know was that this fight was going to generate new fans unlike the way Floyd Mayweather was able to do when he became Money Mayweather. Crawford and Canelo are always prepared to come forward, let their hands go, and fight. I expected nothing different than when they faced each other on 9.13. I'm sure that these men made a few new fans of boxing. Outside of a couple of the earlier boring bouts, Netflix scored a winner with Crawford VS Canelo.
Even if the result will most likely be the same, Netflix would be wise to fight for the rights to broadcast Crawford VS Canelo II. A rematch would break all types of records - it will definitely finally make Bud Crawford the household name that he deserves to be.
