Arum dangled a Pac fight to Crawford to keep him signed, a fight that never happened. TR had Pac and Taylor at the time for Crawford, fights that did not come together one reason or another. There is a reason Crawford left and then sued TR. A Pac win would had springboard him to one of the big stars in the sports but he consistently fought fridge contenders compared to his ability.
Why doesn’t Crawford like Pacquiao?

Black great fighters rarely warm to non black great fighters. It's like some unwritten unspoken code or something. Golovkin, Loma, Usyk, Pac just do not get their just due respect from the black boxing base.👍 1Comment

He also won't acknowledge Bernard Hopkins as a all time great fighter or even a great fighter, this I have a issue with as I do his "opinion" of Manny which comes off also as being petty and I don't believe he actually believes his outspoken positions of both of them
Is there any previous beef with Bernard?
With that said I'm a big Crawford fan what a great performance Saturday night, the undisputed thing doesn't mean much to me but the accomplishment was great(the win itself)
I don't think Crawford should stay at super middleweight or even middleweight because Canelo himself was not a true super middleweight by any mean(he's a blown up 154 boxer) and for some reason we treat him like he is during this fight build up.. actually Bud should fight Boots(so what a step back that would be right?) or retire at his highest note possibleComment

Depends on the fighter...Mayweather, Tyson & Holyfield have NO issues giving props to non-Black boxer's and often list them amongst their favourites. However, Crawford is a hardcore black supremacist and I've NEVER heard him speak highly of any non-Black fighter (besides Bivol & Usyk who gave him props first). Besides, anybody that can have that much vitriol towards Pacquiao (one of the nicest guys in boxing and a devout Christian) must have something wrong with them!Comment

Good points, Mike and Holy are pretty fair when it comes to judging all fighters, they don't see color, they only see greatness and they certainly both know it. Crawford was perhaps embittered by Pacquiao for not fighting him at the end. Pac dodged Bud and picked Horn but in defense of Pac he read the writing on the wall and knew Arum would rig it for Bud. But Bud should understand Pac's reasoning for ducking Bud and taking Horn. Arum ended up robbing Pac anyway and gave the titles to Horn who then of course transferred them to Bud.

Agreed...but Pacquiao DIDN'T duck Crawford to fight Horn. Horn was Pacquiao's WBO Welterweight mandatory when they squared off in July 2017 whereas Crawford became undisputed Light Welterweight champion a month later.

Mayweather is pretty objective too...I've seen him speak very highly of Duran & Chavez in multiple interviews and rank them higher than some renowned Black fighter's including Ali. He also said Pacquiao was the best fighter HE ever faced too.Comment

Sorry, everything Floyd says is self serving agenda. Biggest fraud in ring history. I think Pac would have had a hard time with Bud post prime, but young peak Pac in 2009-2011 has the best chance to beat any man from history 147. Nobody had faster hands than peak Pac, as one opponent told me, he couldn't see the punches.

- - Poor Craw so unloved by the boxing culture than he couldn't draw flies in a manure patch.
Thus the necessity to slur the record setting P4P fighter internationally beloved Manny...Comment

That's what I came here to say too: jealousy. But you elaborated better.Jealousy plain & simple...Pacquiao will always be the SUPERIOR fighter due to having conquered more weight classes (8 vs. 5) for longer (3 decades vs. 2) in addition to more weight (42lbs vs. 33lbs). Crawford has also only beaten ONE HoF fighter in Canelo whereas Pacquiao has defeated MANY e.g. Barrera, Morales, JMM, Cotto, DLH, Mosley etc.
Also, Crawford wouldn't DARE face an undefeated puncher and champion in his PRIME like Thurman despite being 40yo and take his belt or challenge a prime champion in Barrios despite being 46yo and spending 4 years out of the ring. Many people thought Manny WON that fight too.
Crawford also hates Manny because their superfight never materialised (probably due to Arum saying he always lost money on Bud) and he was always living under his shadow at Top Rank.👍 1Comment
