That’s not what Bud haters were saying before he won the fight. All Canelo’s fanboys were predicting a Canelo KO victory.

As they were saying that Bud jumping up three weight classes was just too small and lacked both the size and power to even be remotely competitive with Canelo.

Did anyone see Charlo Bros or Spence Jr in Vegas? Did the haters miss the fight or they stayed away knowing what the outcome would be?

not spinning anything canelo is not some big 168bl guy reason Crawford took the risk main reason i pick Crawford over canelo was his size (beside his slow feet and poor stamina) he needed to fight like the bigger man to beat Crawford he couldn't because he cant he would have got knock out . the way GGG did kell brook is the way to use your size he just ran that guy over

A very small Super middleweight who became the first man in history to unify the division and beat guys that were ALL bigger than him in size and reach. So Canelo has power to nullify the size disadvantage he has.
He just lost to a better fighter and considering how he’s been holding those belts hostage, I’m glad he got beat up.
Now we can watch other guys collect all those vacant belts Crawford will leave behind.

Canelo can still compete against all those guys and win some.

Yup and a few are admitting they were wrong but, they add a little jab to take away from Crawford's achievement such as Canelo lost a step, got old..more mileage etc. Then, some will demand that he fights Bivol or Benavidez if he really wants to chase greatness lol. Just more tears for my cup and I'll savor each and every single one of them.. slowly.

I love Bud and predicted that he would beat Canelo. But let's not get the guy killed.

Bud took on the challenge of facing Canelo, because he wanted to beat the man to be the man.

Canelo was the right sized opponent to make this dream a possibility.

Now folks are asking for him to face the world at middleweight and light heavyweight.

TBH, if Canelo and Crawford doesn't have a rematch for record money and publicity, I'd like to see Crawford retire.

Nothing is worse than seeing one of my favorite fighters stay in the ring way too long....

To my untrained eye they looked the same height, weight, reach and build.

The tale of the tape also said as much, so i don't know where this one fighter was bigger myth comes from.

Styles make fights. Nobody will beat Bud by jumping on him and trading blows. He’s just better than everyone out there at the game of inches. His reflexes, speed and timing are unparalleled. I knew he would do it. Canelo played right into his hands.

I picked Canelo UD but at same time was very aware of Buds real chances to win the fight based on his high ring IQ ,skills and overall ring generalship. Its indeed a huge victory for TC and American Boxing but lets not kid ourselves, most folks here are perfectly aware of Canelos decline in recent fights ,that was no mystery as obviously any top fighter tend to lose a step or two with that many fights under the belt, add previous losses too, Now, that shouldn't take credit off Buds amazing historic victory as he basically clearly beat the best man at 168 but its evident Canelo is definitely on his way out the game. Again and to make myself clear, that fact doesn't take shine off Crawford victory. Credit where its due.
