I’m shocked I didn’t think Crawford could beat Canelo. I thought he would be on his bike but he took it Canelo. In the 12th I didn’t even want him to engage but he is a warrior. Usyk returns to P4P no 2.

Good performance by Crawford. His ability to control distance was what won it. Canelo's no jab power punch strategy just didn't work.

Who's up next then? Bivol for Crawford? Canelo....I dunno. I'm sure there's a rematch option but would be good to see both fight others before that

I ate crow when Crawford dog walked Errol Spence Jr. And when he was getting shut out from the PBC, I thought it was funny. But he eventually got some fights with a couple PBC fighters, Khan, Kell Brook, etc. In this fight, I felt Bud was gonna win by decision but get knocked down at some point during the fight. I was gonna bet on that outcome because that was a $5,000+ payout on a $193 bet. But Bud was nowhere near in danger of getting knocked down. I'm happy for Bud for going threw all he went through to earn his respect. I feel bad that he has now become the "Money Man" at age 38. It's retirement time and he probably should of been one of the main draws 10 years ago..... Also, much respect to Canelo. I usually get on him for the cherrypick, but this wasn't a cherrypick. And he didn't make any excuses. He said he felt good. He didnt claim any injuries in camp or anything. So much respect to Canelo

Thank you for mentioning Usyk. It's basically been Bud and Usyk at the top of the p4p for the last 4 years or so, for me. I'll be honest; I don't think Canelo has really been the same since the Bivol fight.

I figured Bud could win, and wasn't really sold until I saw my friend at the gym on Friday night. I said; "I think Bud takes it." To which he responded, "Me too."

Prior to that, I thought Canelo was too big. For whatever reason though, as the fight drew closer Bud just REALLY seemed sure of himself, and we could see why. He came in in excellent shape, and the weight gain didn't seem to effect him at all.

Another thing nobody seems to be mentioning, is that he fought the fight almost entirely from the Southpaw stance. So I'm guessing he was really just having his way all night long.

I scored it 116-112 for Bud in what was another masterpiece of a performance.

And MASSIVE respect to Canelo for taking this fight. A fight he certainly didn't need to take.

Shame on you. Lara would bring absolutely no fame or money to the table for Crawford. Crawford is in another dimension in boxing altogether. He is boxing royalty right now with his career and ATG status.

Canelo never really answered the question about a rematch. He said it was great to share a ring with him, but didn't say he want a rematch. I think they both retire. Canelo could probably go to 160 and win some titles. Crawford can walk away and maybe do one last fight in Omaha for his hometown against a less risky fighter. He's about to be 38. I hate to see him get old in the ring.
