Kell Brook v GGG. A script that shows how Crawford could cause an upset.

Kell Brook gave GGG everything he could handle. Stood toe to toe with GGG and had GGG in all sorts of confusion. Brooks speed and willingness to trade shocked GGG, and even looked like he may pull off an upset.

Crawford has better credentials than Brook. But is up against a similar task. A smaller fighter Facing a bigger, rugged, hard fisted, legendary fighter. But Crawford is a Legend himself. Can he go just a step further than Brook did and cause an upset?

Watch this fight. Ask yourself if Crawford can go just that bit harder for a bit longer than Brook?

Just watched it again. Looks different now in the context of time where GGG has been beaten. When Brook fought him GGG was undefeated and had KO'd just about everyone. Then to see this Welterweight move up to middle and crack into GGG for a few rounds was amazing. Brook had a broken cheekbone from the end of rnd 2 i think it was. But he had hit GGG with cleaner shots than anyone before him.

So right now it doesn't look as impressive, but for the time when Brook fought GGG and how GGG was just demolishing everyone, Brook did something amazing.

GGG was/is a busier fighter than Canelo. Probably hits harder more often with both hands than Canelo as well. Crawford has more chance v Canelo than Brook had v GGG. However, i see a similar fight unfolding. Canelo trying to walk Bud down behind stiff jabs, crosses and hooks. Bud moving, slipping, countering, occasionally sticking.

Can Canelo be just as successful in walking down Bud as GGG was v Brook? Can Bud move and counter better, harder and more often than Brook did?

GGG v Brook is the script i think we will see play out. How well will Bud and Canelo handle their roles compared to GGG and Brook? I dont think Canelo can do better than what GGG did. Bud can definitely do as well if not better than Brook. Just how much better, will determine who wins.

Bud will not stand in front of Canelo and trade, he will try to tire out Canelo's stamina by using the ring to box and counter

If he gets too reckless engaging with Canelo he's going to eat sharp counters that will stop him in his tracks

It's going to be a close fight I think, with Canelo winning an uncontroversial decision

I would think he’d look at Floyd v Canelo or Trout v Canelo to get the best strategy to win.

Brook was 30 when he fought GGG. Crawford is Pushing 40. Huge difference

I think reach is going to play a big factor in this. Crawford has long arms (Longer than Canelo) and if he can maintain proper distance and pick his spots, he might be able to pick at Canelo though has to be careful with the counter shots coming back. This fight just might be a lot of scratch and sniff and unfortunately as most big fights, probably not live up to the potential. I'm hoping for some good action and drama, but don't really see it. I have a decision victory for probably Canelo and if anyone goes down, it will probably be Bud since he has before. He'll get back up and just be more cautious to get to the end.

              - - Craw a drain on boxing who can't draw flies sorta like Charley Burley.

Turki doing him a favor with his first big purse which is dwarfed by Canelo's purse.

Even Amir was doing fine early against Canelo until the inevitable happened once his chin got touched, Lara? Maybe just a little more offense in a few more rds and its a clear win for him. Canelo really struggles against moblile fighters.

I admit that Kell started that fight exceptionally well. Even rocking Golovkin in the process; Which was one of the very rare occasions that has ever happened. However, once his vision became compromised from that broken eye orbital bone. It was all down hill from there.
