Yea, But Manny was the bigger name in that fight and the judges gave it to Barrios. Canelo is the bigger name here so the judges will give it to Bud then.

Maybe Alvarez NEEDS to lose. And not just a Bivol type loss where he has a lower division full of belts to return to. Maybe the taking of ALL his belts will be a shot in the arm for boxing (no matter how finite)? I mean, Alvarez losing in spectacular fashion WILL crash this forum. That in and of itself would be a small indicator.

Skill wise TBud is better than Saul but TBud is nowhere near Floyd good
Floyd 11-1’d him and and gave away round 12 knowing he swept the entirety of the fight

Bivol 10-2’d his ass. Saul was round 4 and 9

TBud would have to take 9 rounds to be safe 8 if he doesn’t get knocked down

Saul can bring attention to Riyadh because he fights twice a year and has more fights left in him

yeah thing with both floyd and bivol is they prefer to fight on the outside and have excellent distance control. I could see round 1 of canelo fight he was in for a long night when canelo tried to close the distance and bivol used his reach and fast legs to simply keep out of range while returning fire.

bud dont fight like either of those guys he likes to stay in closer and he gets hit a lot more than those guys. He will find canelos power is real and canelo might have lead feet but hes got quick hands so being in range is bad, hes also far more skilled than a lot of casuals have been saying, i been seeing so many videos talking about canelo is one dimensional and all this ****, this is crazy. canelo is very good at adapting finding openings and disguising the trajectory of his shots to keep people guessing. These people have never watched the slow motion break downs, some are even crazy enough to predict a bud KO like canelo dont have a granit chin and big ass gorilla neck, hes not a weight drained post car crash spence, i dont know what they are expecting.

Saul and Bivol's defenses are overlooked by analysts going into this fight

140 pounder Postol went to the scorecards after being hit with all kinds of counters by TBud

Saul has a better chin defense size experience and skill than Postol. Matter of fact Saul is better than TBud in all of those areas sans skill
