It does means pac s better as he's accomplished more, that's the only tangible thing anyone historically measures. Pac has better resume. All common opponents say pac was toughest. Floyd might be trickiest, but even then common opponents aren't saying they think floyd accomplished more, even if floyd was trickier in terms of being able to hit him

Their styles, fundamentals and cultural impact are polar opposites Just because a mustang and a ferrari are both cars doesnt mean they should compared in the same category.

Mustang is a muscle car while a Ferrari is sports car. One is designed to do better on a drag stripe the other is designed to do better on a circuit. One is based on American culture and the other based on Italian culture.

Besides them being both welterweights at the same time and both being the consensus #1 and #2 thats where it ends.

Manny is cut from the old 70s,80s of boxing where fighters came to fight, brawl and be crowd pleasing. Manny also is a cultural icon within his country. Manny being the smaller man would always be suspectable to losing to a better big man.

Floyd is a brash egotistical defensive fighter. This style is only well liked by a sub culture in the sport and that in turn hurts his legacy in the eyes of many Americans and why manny is more popular than him. Not better. Comparing him to manny is a disservice to both of them.

Manny should be compared to other small fighters that fought offensively and challenged themselves. Like Duran, Pryor, etc.

Mayweather should be compared to other slick American fighters and boxers had flashes of offensive but overall more defensive. Pernell, Nicolino Locche, Willie Pep and sometimes James Toney.

You cant compare Floyd and Manny like they are Ken/ Ryu, Sub Zero / Scorpion & Green latern / sinestro and etc because each one of these rivalry are basically carbon copies of each other and cancel each other out.

No matter how you split it. Manny isnt better than floyd and never will beat Floyd at light weight or welterweight. Floyd's reach, ring generalship, IQ, counter punching and etc is Manny Pacquiaos kryptonite.

While floyds kryptonite might be a slick boxer puncher. Maybe like Sugar Ray Leonard.
