Just watched the fight...Iglesias is very impressive but I don't think he's got the skills to trouble Canelo. Anyhow, he's one of 3 talented contenders (along with Sheeraz & Mbilli) who can all BANG (and to a lesser extent Pacheco). Hopefully they all face each other soon.

He's naturally heavy-handed but generates a lot of leverage and torque on his punches...he'll give both Sheeraz & Mbilli serious problems.Comment

What's that? Please educate me, as I'm all for finding a platform that let's you make fight predictions, etc, but I never know where to look, or what's good. Or am I totally out of my element here?Comment

Awesome, thanks so much for the help. I'm new to this forum, but have been a boxing fan for a bit now. I hate to date myself, but I used to be a diehard MMA fan, and I was always on the Sherdog forums; however, within the last 15+ years, I transitioned over to the sweet science, and decided to join a fan forum that was more boxing centric rather than MMA focused.👍 2Comment

I was gonna say exactly the same thing — Iglesias is a problem. He’s big, skilled, disciplined and possesses power. I’ve been high on Morrell for years, and had Osleys in my peripherals, but I’m now thinking the latter could be even more promising. It’s been said that Iglesias beat David in the amateurs, and I can see why. Anyway, here’s another guy to watch — and further proof that the Cuban School isn’t inherently boring.Comment

PS: Iglesias is gonna be a REAL problem…Cuban amateur style, confident, dynamite in his fists and throws punches from all angles with a lot of torque and leverage.Comment

That’s a solid win tbh because Shiskin was seen as a top 10-15 guy at 168 and he arguably beat Scull for the vacant title when they fought. Guy has a good style and he could cause some issues for guys at 168lbs. People like pachecho,Mbilli etc would be good fights👍 1Comment
