Let's imagine Nelo having the following partial resume......

    (In no particular odor)

    Rolls
    Murata
    Kamil
    Vanes
    Ishida
    Stevens
    Brook
    Wade
    LeMeh
    Monroe
    Murray
    Rubio
    Geale
    Adama
    Chenko

Would anyone in their right mind anoint Nelo the greatest anything ?!?!?
GGG limited what div he would fight in and the opp had to be Nelo $$$$$
Take Nelo's off of GGG and there is nothing left.

Nelo made GGG a rich man -
    • GGG vs. Canelo 1 (2017):
      .
While specific figures are debated, Golovkin's earnings were substantial, with estimates placing his total pay in a similar range to his earnings for the rematch.
    • GGG vs. Canelo 2 (2018):
      .
Golovkin's guaranteed purse was $4 million, but with the large number of PPV buys (1.1 million), his total earnings were estimated to be between $20 and $30 million, according to International Business Times.

Following the cancellation of the second fight with Canelo Alvarez, Golovkin fought Vanes Martirosyan on short notice. He made approximately $1 million for that bout ( ), a drastic reduction from the $25 million he would have made had the Canelo rematch proceeded as planned.

I would go with Kovalev. He was losing that fight till he knocked him out. I had GGG winning 1 and 2.

A past his prime and weight class Cotto? I thought he was 1-1-1 against GGG. The way he made GGG and his fans wait for their third fight was disgraceful! The fight against Jacobs was good, I guess.

For me I’d say Kovalev. He was the challenger, there was no catchweight BS, he was undersized and Kovalev despite being past his prime was still a very capable fighter ass shown in his wins over Yarde and Eleider Alvarez. On top of that, Canelo won decisively, no controversial decisions or crazy scorecards.

Plant, Saunders, Smith, Cotto and Jacobs were all good wins too. I also felt he beat Lara pretty clearly- but I accept many people disagree.

Would have to be Lara even though a lot of people had it either a draw or Lara win.

All his other wins against names GGG (dumped belts instead of fighting him. Then was gifted a draw then pissed dirty before the rematch. Then arguably lost or got a draw in the 2nd fight). Kovlev was purposefully handicapped by Ginger so that dont count. What other good/great fighters did he beat cleanly who were not out of their prime or made to have a cw or some other bs?

If he gave Canelo a draw, it means he is at that level.
              Judges gifted Ginger a draw.

No cw but there was a rehydration clause, on top of Kovalev going life and death with yard only 6 + weeks prior. Ginger knew exactly what he was doing. Even Kovalev said he couldn't pass up that money thrown at him even though he was compromised

GGG 2 was a great win. I thought GGG won the first and Canelo won the 2nd. I know people also claim robbery for the 2nd, I thought GGG was going to win the 2nd (before fight night) but on the night Canelo did what he said he would do come forward and come to fight was impressed with the performance and disappointed in GGG although was still a great fight I did not see GGG winning the 2nd

I'm just pleased unbiased fight fans would anoint Nelo elite if he had GGGs soft AF resume
No Nelo and GGG is a nobody
