You believe this person is pound for pound, someone else believe another guy is p4p. They can both "prove it", but means nothing because it's an opinion.
Lou DiBella has no problem admitting that Gennady Golovkin is simply too dangerous for Sergio Martinez to face when the Argentinean returns in 2014.

According to an unbiased party, Google.....
1) Canelo believes Benavidez has been disrespectful in his pursuit of a fight, calling him out in aggressive ways that Canelo finds off-putting.
2) Canelo has stated that Benavidez hasn't earned the right to fight him, pointing to a perceived lack of significant achievements in Benavidez's career.
3) Canelo views a fight with Benavidez as a high-risk fight where he has more to lose than gain, particularly given Benavidez's size and style.
4) At this point, Canelo feels he can "do whatever he wants" and doesn't need to accommodate fighters who approach him the way Benavidez has.
5) While Benavidez fights under the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) banner, which is a positive sign for a future fight, the fight ultimately comes down to Canelo's discretion and who he wants to face.
6) Canelo has also raised concerns about the weight difference between him and Benavidez, with Canelo claiming Benavidez weighs 25-30 pounds more on fight night.
Let's break it down
1) Benny The Boogeyman's team has done him a disservice by being disrespectful.
2) Regardless of what rank Benny had, his resume is 100000000000000000% trash. As with GGG's resume, NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD SAY NELO IS GREAT IF HE HAD BENNY's RESUME !!!!!
3) Not so much the risk, Biv is/was a greater risk and Nelo earned close to 50 mil. What is Benny's best payday ???
4) FACTS !!! Benny is an unproven loudmouth.
5) Until boxing steps in.......Let's "face" it. Nelo didn't need Benny to get to where he's at. Let's see Benny do likewise!!!
6) People said GGG was a "small" MW. He's bigger than Nelo so...............👎 1Comment

I did it's an opinion. Opinion don't neet evidence.
You believe this person is pound for pound, someone else believe another guy is p4p. They can both "prove it", but means nothing because it's an opinion.
"Chisora would beat Ali"
It's an opinion because it can never be proven
A fighter ducking, avoiding, not wanting to fight another guy can be factual.
Being P4P can be factual
Unless so called UNBIASED fight fans no longer know how to RATE A RESEUME !!!!!
They pick and choose who to put under that microscope.
As for that link you finally supplied....
"Lou DiBella says............."
Further.......
"“Sergio will be out for at least a year. You saw his last fight, he won it on guts and will and balls alone. He had no knee, he had no hand, and I’m not sending a champion who is 38-years-old - after a year plus layoff - into a ring with this guy....."
Imagine Nelo wanting to fight an injured 38 year old and claiming the 38 year old is scared if he doesn't!!!!!!!!!!

Well, from the way you describe it Eric it has to be Golovkin 2. To win 9 rounds against a still feared GGG is quite the achievement.
Golovkin may not have leapt divisions like Cotto but he was the Hagler of his time. He wasn't as long in the tooth as Kovalev. That said he was definitely past prime and there was definitely a reason that Canelo hung out down at 155 for 3 years or so - avoided all the troublesome 154pounders like the Charlos and Hurd when in their prime and avoided GGG at 160
Also the pattern - look how old all those fighters were - did Canelo ever fight an elite fighter who was the same age as or younger than him? Bivol was younger? Oh....Comment
