Fights that got cancelled you wanted to see.

A follow up from my previous thread of fights we wish happened. Quite a few got mentioned that actually got announced but didn’t happen such as:

    Mosley-Judah 2008
    Mosley-Berto 2010
    Mayorga-Angulo 2009
    Canelo-Williams 2012
    Golovkin-Pirog 2012.

Any others we can think of?

    Cotto-Kirkland in 2017 and Inoue-Casimero 2020 I’d add.

This one broke my heart. A beast with an excellent jab (GGG) versus one of the best (recent) switch hitters (Pirog). Would have been fireworks with Golovkin (probably) winning off the jab.

Same here, both guys really needed a dance partner too. Shout out to the poster who named this one in the other thread.

Pavlik vs Williams 2010. Sergio Martinez stepped in and upset Pavlik, then brutally knocked out Williams later that year.

what if judah won? would floyd have rematched him? that would have been funny.

williams was shot to pieces when canelo finally wanted to fight him. easy knockout for canelo. williams had been ko'd by martinez and dominated by lara. he even looked terrible against cintron before cintron jumped out of the ropes to try and secure a scorecard win which he didnt even get lol

Fury vs Joshua (Fight was agreed to but Wilder forced the trilogy fight)

Fury vs Haye (haye got hurt)

Trinidad vs Mosley (Tito lost to Winky so he got the fight instead)
