I apologize… but you should join Pick Em league… its friendly fun & banter
I must admit I started to somehow like Parker recently because he is willing to take on anybody.

I felt like ut was all over for him when Joyce veat him. And Parker looked shot fighting Chisora. I felt he lost the first Chisira fight.

But now I see ge would really fight anybody.

Ok maybe I join. No hard feelings, everything is fine.

Parker is one of the few fighters that wants to take whatever name is a challenge especially if it moves him up in the rankings. His down fall is the lack of real power but he has a fighter's heart all the way.

His downfall is that he's not British and has been sidelined, shut out and jobbed of titles and title shots because of it.

I thought the first fight was close with Chisora but he dominated the 2nd fight dropping Chisora a couple times if i remember correctly.

I was so annoyed when i saw the shape Parker was in for Joyce. He was a career heaviest & looked soft. He may have lost the Joyce fight but he landed a lot of clean power shots & i am convinced if he showed up in the condition he was in for Wilder & Zhang I think he would have beaten Joyce.

That is just me speculating but he definitely cracked Joyce’s jaw. Joyce may have won the fight but that was the last time his chin held up. Zhang basically finished him as a contender but the Parker fight is where I believe Joyce’s rapid decline started. Parker threw everything but the kitchen sink & landed but he was so gassed by the 10th he pretty much got stopped from exhaustion & Joyce’s pressure…

“Joe Joyce. It wasn’t my best night; it was really tough.

Before the fight, I got really sick. Really sick. I shouldn’t have stepped into the ring. But mentally, I thought I would destroy this guy. And then, after the first round, I realized: damn, things aren’t going so well.

He’s not the fastest and doesn’t move too briskly. I lost because of the pressure he put on me and the fact that I wasn’t in top form. It was rough,” Parker said.

Well, some of that too. But if he had power it wouldn't go so often to the cards.

Obviously you are a little biased towards oilskin Parker but i’m cool with it. Parker was always a favourite of mine & i took heat many times for defending him. So in other words “sick” means he didn’t train as hard as he should have because he thought he would destroy him. Parker paid the price for not preparing better…

The sport is called Boxing, not Power Knockouts.

That it goes to the cards and he wins shows he's an accomplished boxer and not just a one trick pony, but if you're only as good as your last fight...

He knocked Martin Bakole - the greatest living sparring partner ever - out in 1 and a bit rounds.

                    That speaks volumes!

I read somewhere else he couldn't train properly for the 2 weeks leading into the fight, but he still took it and tried to adapt to a different gameplan of looking to blast Joyce out in a few rounds.

And despite being dead on his feet and gasping for air he went out swinging on his shield.

That was a damn good fight!!!
