Exciting and a tough bout, Jermell has been inactive for about 2 years and would be against an opponent at the level of Brian Castaño.

By the way, where is Castaño? It has been 3 years and he was a top level fighter.

After that Canelo performance, I can't say I do. Jermell would be wise to make his 160lb debut and go after a title there, instead of weight-draining himself. He hasn't made 154 since May 2022.

You might be correct regarding the weight. Baraou is the right opponent to test the weight. Zayas too! However you’re probably right, Resendiz at 160, or Lara @ 160, might be even better for a comeback. I just want Jermell back in action! He’s always been a dog!

I guess it will all depend on Jermell's intentions. Does he intend on rebuilding himself and further adding to his legacy, or is he itching for another payday?
