I'm not mad at the "prizefighter" wanting to get the biggest "prize" as he can get. This is America. Home of capitalism. CAPITALISM: an economic system of private ownership of the means of production, where goods and services are produced for profit in a competitive market. People from all over the world come to our shores to bathe in this system of insane profit. Here are a few examples of products that dominate the markets: Apple=i Phone...MacDonalds=cheeseburger....Nike=basketball shoes;;etc. Jake Paul and Tank Davis also have products. Jake's product is being himself on social media and transforming that into a quasi boxing career. Tank's product is his fist knocking people out in the SKREETS of Bodymore, Murdahland and transforming that into a profitable boxing career. These two competitors will meet in November with both putting their products on the line for all the glory. Floyd PPVweather and the Notorious C.O.N. did it ten years ago and made 600 million dollars in one night. Adam Smith is getting a boner in his grave right now just thinking about this!
Ducked modern great and prime Loma at 130, past-prime Loma at 135, no fights with his contemporaries Teo, Haney, Stevenson, or even the new boys Keyshawn, Mason, Schofield etc.
Stank is a disgrace to the sport, and the circus with Paul is a complete joke. And Stank needs to give Roach his well, deserved rematch.
Of course tank is going to try to cash out. I would fight Jake too for the millions he is getting.
I am very annoyed with Jake
The thing is boxing has no international league. So anyone is free to drop in and exploit the business if they have enough money and interests and Jake had both in terms of money and followers. He was a master at self promotion thats how he made it on youtube. If boxing had a league they would prevent this to protect the image of the sport. the same way the NFL or NBA would not allow him to go play in their games and make a mockery of it. Yeah its generating money but its also making a mockery of the sport there is just no way to prevent it.
