Usyk is a genetic freak

He had 350 amateur fights, plus 5 WBSS fights, against top class SHWs with no headgear and 10 oz gloves. And at 38 years old, he's still head and shoulders better than anybody in his division. Usyk is a unique fighter.Comment

Oleksandr Uysk compared to most Heavyweight fighters in this era 'Is a talented athlete, in terms of athleticism. But he is not a genetic marvel, not on the level of Mike Tyson or Muhammad Ali at their peak. I would even rate fighters such as Evander Holyfield and David Haye to have greater athleticism than Uysk'.
I also believe that Anthony Joshua when he unleashes his maximum levels of power 'has a level of brute strength, power, and athleticism combined with skill that Oleksandr Uysk would really struggle to compete with. We saw this during round 9 of their second fight, which is the most clear round any fighter has ever won against Oleksandr Uysk in the heavyweight Division. Uysk did not really have a answer to how Joshua was applying the pressure, all he could really do in that moment was complain and play act that Joshua had hit him with a low punch after certain attacks'.
But that is just it? This era of modern day heavyweight fighters have really found it difficult to maintain the intensity which is needed to beat Oleksandr Uysk for the entire duration of the fight. That is specifically where he has exploited the modern day super heavyweight fighters, which is superior endurance and consistent skill level'.
Note: Skill for skill;, and even athletically 'both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua clearly had the ability to win rounds vs Oleksandr Uysk I & II. They just struggled to be consistent with their pace and technical accuracy for the entire fight'.
Think about how Evander Holyfield who was similar dimensions to Oleksandr Uysk 'how he fought fighters such as Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis I & II, and Rid**** Bowe I, II & III. The tactics he used against them, and the manner in which The action in all of those fights developed'.
Now compared that, to how Oleksandr Uysk fought Tyson Fury I & II, Anthony Joshua I & II and Derek Chisoa 'Evander Holyfield's endurance and brute strength, was on a different level to Uysk'.
Oleksandr Uysk was pushed about and smashed up by a miles outside of his peak Derek Chisora 'Evander Holyfield fought Mike Tyson, predominantly on the front foot, momentum vs momentum and was the victor in those fights'.
To conclude: So overall Oleksandr Uysk is a great athlete 'but he gains most of his advantages over his nearest competition, due to his work ethic. And the areas of his game which I think he focuses on very intensely which are his endurance and boxing skill'.
A classic hallmark trait of the modern day super heavyweight era 'Is that in my opinion? Heavyweight fighters are most likely in the worst condition they have ever been in any point in boxing history in terms of general conditioning and endurance levels. The division has been so under par, when fighters have appeared who have great work ethic like Anthony Joshua and David Haye, the critics are not far off trying their best to discredit them for being in condition'.
The two best heavyweight fighters of this era in terms of work ethic are 'Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Uysk. Joshua has near psychopathic work ethic, and Uysk is very similar. And this is why even after Anthony Joshua recent loss to Daniel Dubois, you should not really write a fighter off like Joshua with the experience he has combined with the high level of work ethic' etc.
