I think the increased size and muscle will help him take the blows from Canelo, but I'm not sure it's going to benefit him performance wise. He's going to be a tad more ordinary if he loses speed. This is probably going to be a UD for Canelo.

crawford has the skinniest waist that canelo has fought in a loong time, maybe that is why he didnt fight that many mexicans???

as was pointed out, crawford last fought a mexican body puncher more than decade ago.we give some praise to errole spence who landed some nice shots but was just a shell.

but overall, he is going from ray beltran body punches to.....canelo.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see but I have a feeling that the additional weight will help Buff Guy Bud Mr T Crawford take a better shot and give him enough pop on his punches to keep Buff Guy Cinnamon Cartel Chief Canelo at bay instead of swarming him constantly like he does every other fighter.
