japan only has 5 champions now. they had 9 or 10 once recently. kenshiro and kazuto ioka are on their last legs. their golden era is about to end. i love japanese boxing the most and it will be a sad day if they ban it.
You think that Japan would ban boxing ? i do not they could make some rules or disturb what they have built thru the years in those lighter weights and could be hurtful if not taken steps that are sensible and not over reacting to the sport of boxing. USA did not ban boxing but they sure did sell it to the highest bidder ...........

In fact, the ONLY thing that threatens to derail Japanese boxing is their declining population (although that seems to be a global problem).

Every athletic commission in the USA should have a way to give 10 and 12rd fighters a CT scan the week of the fight. This BS of cost is asinine at this point.

We need to start a thread solely dedicated to nicknames for fighters...this shit is actually hilarious

Are you going to participate in the next Pick 'Em season which begins in 2 weeks? I finished 4th in the latest edition but it's a good way to test your boxing knowledge against other users.

kaibutsu is a good nickname. his stature is irrelevant. big monster is kaijuu. kaibutsu can be any size. but honestly it's not for him because he's a good guy, smiling, no controversy.
