First half of the fight will be interesting. Crawford will have to be aggressive early to take rounds but he will also be taking a risk exchanging with the bigger man in his first fight at 168. Coming forward will play right into Canelo’s hands who has learned great patience to set up counters and land big body shots.

Doubtful he can hurt Canelo who has taken shots from bigger punchers and has a great chin. If Crawford feels or is told he is down on the cards will he go for it or will he fight to make it through 12 rounds instead of potentially getting dropped?

He will not get the respect you mentioned up and until he beats Bud just the way it is, but and it is a butt if he can survive the talent and skill and aggressive instincts of Crawford he will get the respect you want to lay out for him before the fight. And the fight will be a draw not on the cards but with fans.....and poss future fans .......it better not "draw"' on the cards that would ruin everything.

Crawford's not worried about losing his JMW belt. This is likely his retirement fight, win, lose or draw. I personally believe he loses, possibly by TKO.
