He was on his way to be one of the names in boxing but he had to take a break for his health and that derailed him.
Bootsy ennis ducked him. Fundora ducking him. Xayas ducking him. Need anything else? Lmao

I’m just going to quote NoAgendaBoxing

When Boots made the decision to go to 154 Virgil posted a pic saying his hand was hurt and his father said that Boots missed his chance (when he was a weight class lower) and he needed to get to the back of the line. Now the story is they've sent Boots two contracts?”

Did you read that article last week when Ortiz’s dad said Boots missed his chance?

Ortiz is 27 years old. He NEVER won a title at Welterweight. He is going to move to 160 without wining a title at 154.

Location preference. He also had a chance to fight Bakhram but backed out over the mandatory clause that you can’t gain 10 pounds. This chump is in no position to call anyone else a duck or act as if he’s really trying to real fights.
He made an offer to Zayas then took a tougher fight against Madrimov instead, beating him more impressively than Terence Crawford did.

He offered to fight Bakhram without the rehydration clause since he has had issues with rhabdomyolisis. But Bakhram refused.

He is now fighting Erickson Lubin. Who will almost for sure be a tougher opponent than either Zayas or Bakhram are fighting next.

so much goes into these fighters match up and add to that the write ups can often be very slanted that it is better to wait till they get in the ring and judge them on there fight skills in the end.

Not really sure or dont remember if Virgils team actually send Zayas an offer after Boots ducked Turkis offer to fight Ortiz in SA but the rest sounds pretty accurate.

Didn't Ortiz's father posted a picture that Ortiz's hands were swollen and could not fight Boots? Didn't Zayas before he had a title was really disappointed when Ortiz fought someone else? It was up to Golden Boy to force a match against Fundora and they let that slide. Al Haymon will keep fights in house especially when there is a title involved.

He’ll be moving to 160 next year and then claim everyone at 154 ducked him. Mark my words.
