I try to keep track as best as I can but ultimately I get lost when it comes to the belts/titles; what interim strap did Baraou win last night? Is he mando for anyone in particular?

It was the WBA 154 interim belt. I read elsewhere that when Terence Crawford steps into the ring with Canelo Alvarez his recognition as 154 champion will be withdrawn, and Baraou will become the full titleholder. He will then be mandated to defend against former champion Jermell Charlo.

Well, I remember in 1982 I came from NY visiting Miami, after a couple of hours visiting friends and walking around the neighborhood, I almost fainted because of the heat, I mean that was scary. The guy can be from Africa and has been living and training in the cold for 5 years; he would be more adapted to the cold. Not saying that was the reason, but I have seen athletes bothered by cold/heat. In any case, this is a learning curve, and I'm pretty sure he's not going to be depressed and will take the loss in stride, and come back better and stronger. I watched some highlights, and he was given as good as he took; now there is no ZERO to protect.
